Hello, Canna Connect community. Minnesota’s cannabis scene is growing, learning, and showing up for each other. Here is what is happening this week and how you can get involved.
Headline: The Canna Connect Show launches next week
The Canna Connect Show is set to debut next week, and we’re excited to share real conversations from across Minnesota’s cannabis community. We will highlight people doing the work, bring community spotlights and product features to life, and make space for thoughtful talk around policy, compliance, and innovation. We are still shaping the flow with your input, so keep an eye on our socials for the launch next Wednesday. Want to join us or pitch a guest? Reply to this email and tell us what you have in mind.
Legal Update: Hemp needs your voice now
Congress is moving to ban full-spectrum hemp products, including CBD, THCA flower, Delta-8, and Delta-10. This threatens farmers, small businesses, wellness brands, and consumers who rely on safe, plant-based options for relief and rest. It also risks handing hemp’s future to pharmaceutical interests and undoing years of reform progress.
There is a clear education gap within the House Appropriations Committee about hemp regulation and consumer safety. Minnesotans can help close that gap.
How you can help today
Contact Congress using the U.S. Hemp Roundtable’s letter tool.
Share this action with your network and tag #CannaConnectMN to amplify.
If you operate a hemp business, add a short note about jobs at stake in your district.
